Pay Attention To Wearing Long Down Jackets

1. Avoid improper size selection
Being too fat in a down jacket can increase the layer of air flowing between the garment and the human body, causing faster body temperature loss. Being too thin can narrow the gaps in the down jacket, reduce the amount of static air inside, and thus reduce warmth retention.

2. Avoid burns
Down jackets are often made of synthetic fibers such as nylon. Due to the poor heat resistance of nylon fabrics, they will deform when the temperature reaches 160 ℃. Therefore, when wearing down jackets, it is important to avoid hot pipes, cigarette ash, and scattered fireworks.

3. Avoid improper washing
When washing down jackets, use a soft bristled brush and do not use a washboard or twist it.

4. Avoid washing too frequently
Although down jackets can be washed as a whole, due to the poor strength of the down, frequent washing can cause the down to shatter and clump, reducing warmth retention.

5. Avoid exposure to sunlight
Nylon fabrics are afraid of sunlight exposure, and prolonged exposure to the scorching sun can cause the fibers of the nylon fabric to age.
